It was a great day yesterday, a record of 185 finishers in fantastic weather conditions this time !
Well done to all the walkers and many thanks to all who were involved in this great event, the walkers, marshalls, spectators, organising committee and especially my supporting crew, Steve Partington and Steve Brennan who made it possible to finish within the top 10 and under 17 hours ! I'm very happy with this result !
I had only one "rest" which was at Peel when I fell in front of the crowd, which was the best place to do something like that ;-) . But there wasn't much damage so I could carry on to Douglas promenade . Finishing in 16 hours, 53 minutes and 41 seconds for the 85 miles (137 km) in 8th position.
Again many thanks to all and probably till next year ! I will have some sleep now !

Great performance, walking 85 miles and almost 17 hours and than finish in 8th place!!
